Roll groove
Roll Groove is a mechanical system of pipe jointing consisting of couplings and a range of fittings. The system uses the pressure within the pipeline to create a waterproof seal.
Current regulations (AS 2419.1) require that all grooved fittings used on fire hydrant services be hot dipped galvanised, although painted fittings are still available for other applications.
